Welcome! The ORR Center is a community based non profit organization fostering sustainability through events, projects, and programs.

The mission of The ORR Center is to strengthen our rural area by working to enrich and transform the lives of families and children by providing cultural, recreational, social, educational, and community service programs. An emphasis is placed on recreation, healthy active lifestyles, quality activities, and creating sustainable locally grown food systems.

We are now OPEN and accepting donations!! Donations can be dropped off at The Orr Center during business hours or at Manick Docks & Recreation - 9240 Hwy 115 Cook,MN 55723 M-F from 9-3

About

The programs and initiatives we have in mind will provide a substantial increase in traffic to local area businesses, and bring life to our rural northern community. We are striving to make Orr a destination by combining our shopping, culture, sustainability, and educational opportunities with our area's bounty of natural resources and recreation. 

Projects

Our plan is to revitalize the building into a community resource center complete with health & wellness programs, youth and adult programs, education programs, a community art studio & gallery, library, medical loan closet, food pantry and several annual events. 

Donate 

The Orr Center is a not for profit community center which means we operate on grants and donations. Our volunteers, sponsors & donors make it possible for us to to serve our community. The more we grow, the more we can give back. Please consider us for your charitable giving!
